Foi o que aconteceu recentemente dentro do âmbito do projecto MTV Switch. No caso, a missão era explicar aos jovens a importante questão do aquecimento global. O resultado foi o spot que pode ver abaixo, produzido pela Krypton, realizado pela Joana Areal, com fotografia de Luis Branquinho e banda sonora da Indigo. Também pode ver o making of da produção no outro vídeo. A Ogilvy Portugal aproveitou a data para publicar no Jornal de Negócios um anúncio onde ressaltava a importância dos textos na publicidade. O anúncio, apesar da veiculaçao única, teve uma excelente repercussão. Foram muitos os e-mails a parabenizar a iniciativa. Até porque o próprio anúncio trazia no seu final um endereço de e-mail para onde quem quisesse poderia enviar um comentário. E havia a promessa dos melhores comentários aparecerem neste blogue. Amparados na teoria "uma imagem fala mais que mil palavras", fomos obrigados a consumir fotos e composições abstratas que se sobrepõem ao título minimalista. A desculpa era o impacto junto ao leitor. Afinal, o texto só iria atrapalhar o layout. É ótimo resgatar a idéia do leitor. Do consumidor disposto a se informar e decidir. Não apenas o apreciador de imagens.Um conceito forte e consistente é melhor em palavras. Em texto simples, objetivo e inteligente. O que acontece na maior parte das situações é que não compreendem o que estão a ler ou leram. Muitas vezes e em função dessa situação, também não se torna compreensível o que escrevem. Por exemplo, quando se cria um anúncio de publicidade, na minha opinião, este deverá ser feito para ser entendido de forma imediata. Se criarmos uma mensagem demasiado complexa, duas situações poderão acontecer:ou a pessoa não a lê ou se a lê, não a entende. Logo o objectivo inicial de venda ou promoção não é atingido, uma vez que a mensagem não passou. Outra situação que demonstra analfabetismo é quando a pessoa erra, não por não saber, mas porque já errou antes e continua a cometer o mesmo erro. Ou seja, não aprendeu. Nós na Ogilvy e a MTV Portugal não ficamos indiferentes a essa data. Juntos, criámos e produzimos uma acção no centro da cidade de Lisboa, no Largo de Camões, onde um grande painel mostrava o que sentem as mulheres vítimas de tráfico. Um evento que durou todo o dia  e que contou com a participação de dezenas de mulheres portuguesas famosas, desde cantoras, actrizes, modelos e jornalistas. Cada uma delas ficou durante algum tempo exposta num painel, criando assim um outdoor vivo. O evento teve ampla cobertura das televisões, rádios e jornais do país. É o caso da presente campanha de comunicação para a Mega FM. Numa produtiva parceria com um cliente mais do que &lt;em&gt;open mind&lt;/em&gt;, transformámos a própria produção da campanha num mega evento. A ideia passou por colocar a Mega FM a incentivar os seus ouvintes a participar num &lt;em&gt;casting&lt;/em&gt; que escolheria 10 jovens que dariam a cara pela rádio. Dito e feito. Centenas de rapazes e raparigas de todo o país responderam à chamada e, alegremente, posaram para as câmaras do fotógrafo Claus Stellfeld. Ganhámos esta conta em meados de Janeiro. Menos de uma semana depois já tínhamos vários anúncios publicados para este cliente.&lt;/span&gt; &lt;span style="font-family: georgia;"&gt;Primeiro foi a campanha de imprensa institucional (e várias de produtos). Menos de um mês depois, foi para o ar a primeira parte da TV institucional.&lt;/span&gt; &lt;span style="font-family: georgia;"&gt;Abaixo, poderá ver os três spots da campanha (realização de Nuno dias, numa produção da Ozono Filmes). Participámos de um concurso internacional promovido pela MTV Worldwide em parceria com o grupo WPP, tendo em vista a criação e produção de spots de TV que ajudassem na divulgação das questões relacionadas com a SIDA. Agências de todo planeta concorreram. Centenas de ideias foram apresentadas. Apenas cerca de duas dezenas de spots passaram pelo crivo da MTV. E dessas uma foi da Ogilvy Portugal. O spot já está no ar em todo o mundo, com uma audiência potencial de 1 bilião de pessoas.
